EC gives ASDD voters another chance to enrol in seven states

The Election Commission has directed chief electoral officers in Delhi, Maharashtra, Haryana, Andhra Pradesh, Jharkhand, Telangana and Nagaland to re-enrol voters marked Absent, Shifted, Dead or Duplicate whose names were left out of draft rolls during the Special Intensive Revision. Booth-wise lists with reasons for exclusion will be displayed and uploaded online, and officials will contact affected electors through Booth Level Officers.
