A new film, I Play Rocky, recounts how a broke and unknown Sylvester Stallone wrote the boxing drama Rocky in three days and fought to star in it himself. Directed by Peter Farrelly and starring Anthony Ippolito, it traces Stallone's struggles with typecasting and rejection before Rocky became 1976's biggest box-office hit and won best picture.
