Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has directed medical colleges to promote research, starting with a dedicated research department at IGMC Shimla. He also announced Rs 75 crore for automated labs in three medical colleges and stressed on strengthening diagnostic services to ensure timely treatment.
