BHU surgeons restore man's smile after 7-year jaw tumour ordeal

A 35-year-old washerman from Uttar Pradesh, living with a massive mandibular tumour for seven years, has been successfully treated at Banaras Hindu University. A team led by Prof Akhilesh Kumar Singh performed an eight-hour surgery, removing the tumour and reconstructing his jaw using a fibula bone flap, restoring his facial structure and confidence.
