Bengaluru hotels face action over rotten meat, expired food

Karnataka's food safety department inspected 26 three- and five-star hotels in Bengaluru, uncovering violations like expired food, fungal vegetables, and poor hygiene. Notices were issued to food business operators, and 35 samples were sent for lab testing. The drive followed public complaints and was directed by Health Minister UT Khader.
