Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay chaired an all-party meeting on the Centre's proposed delimitation Bill, which was boycotted by the DMK and AIADMK. The ruling TVK and its allies passed a resolution opposing the Bill, while the DMK called the meeting a diversion from the Cauvery water issue. Only 20 of 57 MPs attended.
