Air India pilot in turbulence incident fails dope test

The captain of Air India's turbulence-hit Phuket-Delhi flight on August 4 has tested positive for psychoactive substances in a post-flight dope test and has been temporarily grounded. The test was ordered by the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau after 17 passengers and four crew members were injured. Air India says it has not received the results and cannot comment.
