Interior designer Caitlin Swann and her family in Fairfield, Connecticut, built a 725-square-foot cottage in their backyard for her retired parents, Patti and Gary Christie. The arrangement allows three generations to live steps apart, with grandparents close for babysitting and daily life. Construction began in May 2025 and was completed by November.
