Indian Navy chief begins first foreign trip with Mauritius visit

Admiral Krishna Swaminathan, India's Chief of the Naval Staff, began a four-day official visit to Mauritius on Monday, his first overseas trip since taking charge. The visit aims to deepen bilateral maritime cooperation and defence ties, with discussions on maritime security, capacity building, and military collaboration. India and Mauritius share a longstanding partnership, including joint surveillance and training exchanges.
