Total solar eclipse 2026: Where, when and how to watch

On Wednesday, a total solar eclipse will sweep from the Arctic to Europe, bringing about two minutes of darkness to 15 million people along the path of totality. A partial eclipse will be visible across much of Western Europe, parts of Northwest Africa, Canada, and the northern US. Experts advise using proper eye protection except during totality.
