Toyota recalls 655K Camrys over display error

Toyota is recalling about 655,000 Camry vehicles globally due to a display error that may deactivate safety indicators like turn signals and hazard lights during startup. Most affected are 508,000 Camry Hybrids in the U.S. Dealers will provide a free software update, with owner notifications starting Sept. 21.
