The EPFO received 15.24 lakh applications for higher pension under EPS-95, of which 11,595 are pending. Most pending cases are from Punjab & Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, Maharashtra, and Orissa. The scheme allows employees to opt for higher pension based on actual basic salary.
