Spotify will introduce an AI Persona badge from mid-September to flag artists whose identity may be AI-generated, aiming to increase transparency for listeners. The badge will appear on profiles, in searches, and on tracks, and such artists will be excluded from personalized recommendations unless followed. The move follows listener concerns about AI-generated music.
