Lawsuit seeks to ban Trump Media from charging for early access to president's posts

President Donald Trump was sued in federal court Wednesday to stop him from profiting from a paid service on Truth Social that offers early, exclusive access to his posts on U.S. policy. The lawsuit, filed by Freedom of the Press Foundation and The Intercept, argues the deal violates the Constitution by giving paying customers priority access to official announcements. Trump Media defended the service, saying it is common in the industry and that the plaintiffs are trying to censor the president.
