Japan may intervene in yen, hike rates faster, ex-diplomat says

Japan's former top currency diplomat Mitsuhiro Furusawa said Tokyo may conduct joint yen intervention "at any time" and signal faster-than-expected interest rate hikes to stem the currency's falls. The remarks come as the yen remains under pressure.
