Dallas airport scraps Muslim foot-washing plans after Abbott review

Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport has abandoned plans to add more foot-washing stations for Muslim travelers after Texas Gov. Greg Abbott ordered a review and questioned whether such facilities constitute religious discrimination. The airport said the project would not deliver expected benefits. Abbott also asked federal authorities to examine similar facilities at Houston's airport.
