Canadian miner NexGen Energy is in regular talks with BHP about its Rook I uranium project in Saskatchewan, CEO Leigh Curyer said. The company aims to raise $1 billion within nine months through prepayments, debt, and project equity. Rook I is expected to start production by 2030.
