The NCERT has reconstituted the textbook development team for Class 11 and 12 political science, with at least four members having links to the RSS or BJP. The team, led by Sandeep Shastri, will develop the Class 11 textbook by November and Class 12 by July next year, integrating cultural rootedness and Indian knowledge systems.
