Sanyal: Low-birth-rate states will need migrants

Sanjeev Sanyal, a member of the PM's Economic Advisory Council, said states like Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, and West Bengal, with birth rates below replacement level, will need migrants to sustain their economies and public systems. He noted India's overall population is stable due to high-birth-rate states like UP and Bihar, but warned that no country has reversed such trends.
