Ukraine's parliament approved Major General Yevhenii Khmara as the new defence minister on Wednesday, replacing Mykhailo Fedorov, who was removed after six months. President Volodymyr Zelensky hailed the move, saying 'Ukraine needs more strength. And it will have it.' Khmara vowed to defend Ukraine and reduce Russia's war potential.
