Ladakh leaders demand elected Assembly, CM in UT framework

Ladakh leaders demanded an elected Legislative Assembly, a Chief Minister, and control over police and public order in the proposed Union Territory framework. The demands were made during a meeting with Union Home Ministry officials in Leh, based on a May 22 agreement. They also sought a separate Public Service Commission and financial powers.
