Galaxy with three supermassive black holes spotted

Astronomers have discovered a galaxy with three supermassive black holes, the first such finding. The galaxy, J0148-4214, is 12.5 billion light-years away and was observed using the James Webb Space Telescope. The discovery could reveal how supermassive black holes merge and form.
