India calls removal of Pakistan HC structure 'proportionate action'

India's MEA said Friday it removed temporary structures outside Pakistan's High Commission in New Delhi as a 'proportionate action' after Pakistan dismantled parking poles and security structures outside India's High Commission in Islamabad. MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said India had requested Pakistan not to remove the structures, but they proceeded. The move follows strained ties after the Pahalgam terror attack in April 2025.
