National park maintenance sidelined for Trump's Freedom 250

National Park Service maintenance projects at over 200 sites have been relegated to a low-priority list as the Trump administration prioritizes work tied to the Freedom 250 initiative, including repairs to the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool. Nearly all of about 1,500 projects are expected to go undone, worsening a repair backlog that has doubled to over $24 billion.
