Near-total lunar eclipse to grace Americas skies

A near-total lunar eclipse will be visible across the Americas on Thursday night into Friday, with 96% of the moon's surface masked by Earth's shadow. The partial phase lasts over three hours, and billions across the Americas, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East can see it. This follows a total solar eclipse earlier this month.
