Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated KLE Society's Jagadguru Gangadhar Mahaswamigalu Moorusavirmath Medical College, Hospital and Medical Research Centre in Hubballi on Saturday. The integrated campus, built over about 50 acres at an estimated Rs 700 crore, includes a 1,200-bed hospital and AI-integrated systems. Officials say it will boost medical education and healthcare in North Karnataka.
