Denmark Cautiously Optimistic on Trump Greenland Military Deal

Denmark's government voiced cautious optimism Saturday after President Donald Trump announced a deal to expand the U.S. military presence in Greenland while leaving the island under Danish control. Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen said the agreement would strengthen Arctic security and respect the Kingdom's red lines. All three governments are expected to sign it next week at the U.N. General Assembly, though parliamentary approval is still required.
