Cuba's entire electricity grid suffered a total disconnection on Friday, leaving millions without power, the energy ministry said. Power was partially restored to priority areas including Havana hospitals by late evening. It is at least the sixth major blackout this year, driven by ageing infrastructure and fuel shortages worsened by a US oil blockade.
