EC Clarifies SIR Notices Do Not Mean Voter Deletion

The Election Commission said notices issued during Delhi's Special Intensive Revision do not mean names will be deleted from electoral rolls. Arvind Kejriwal, LK Advani, Rekha Gupta and others received notices over discrepancies. Officials stressed no name can be removed without a hearing and appealable order. Disposal is due by October 29, with the final roll on November 4.
