Karan Johar's Dharma Productions has greenlit a biopic on R&AW founder R.N. Kao, set for release on August 11, 2028. Adapted from Nitin Gokhale's book Gentleman Spymaster, the film will depict Kao's life from 1955 to 1971, including his role in the 1971 India-Pakistan War and the creation of R&AW.
