Theja Rio's debut feature Angh, set in 1960s Nagaland, won the Platform Prize at the 2026 Toronto International Film Festival. The award gives the Naga-language film direct eligibility for the Best International Feature Film category at the 2027 Academy Awards. Rio dedicated the win to the people back home.
