Dutch dictionary adds 'vulvalippen' to replace 'shame lips'

Leading Dutch dictionary Dikke van Dale will add 'vulvalippen' as a new term for the labia, alongside the traditional 'schaamlippen', which translates as 'shame lips'. Campaigners behind the Schaamteloos initiative hope the change reduces body shaming and promotes sex positivity, and now want doctors to adopt the word. Similar campaigns have run in Germany and Sweden.
