Mamata Alleges House Arrest, BJP Blocking Route to TMC Rally

Former West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Saturday alleged that TMC leaders were placed under house arrest and BJP workers blocked the route to a party rally in Serampore. She accused police of ignoring attacks on TMC workers, including stones and eggs hurled at MLA Kunal Ghosh's car in Uttarpara. Banerjee said the court-permitted rally would proceed.
