The Daytime Sextantids meteor shower is approaching maximum activity, but its meteors are notoriously hard to spot because the radiant lies near the sun. Predictions place the peak between late September and early October, with Sept. 27 and Sept. 30–Oct. 4 among the estimates. Up to five meteors may be visible before dawn around Sept. 27.
