Union Home Minister Amit Shah will flag off India's first LNG-powered train and inaugurate railway projects worth over Rs 1,542 crore at Sabarmati on September 27. The projects include a WAG-12 locomotive shed, automatic block signalling, and Kavach safety system on 404 km. The LNG train uses dual-fuel technology, cutting diesel use by nearly 40% and reducing emissions.
