The European Union has pledged over €710 million ($810m) in humanitarian aid, with the majority directed to sub-Saharan Africa for migration, conflict and food insecurity. The package includes €380m for migration-related measures, €97m for conflict and climate shocks, and funds for Ebola response in the DRC. Aid also goes to Palestinian territories, Lebanon and Ukraine.
