The three-day bank strike planned for 28-30 September has been deferred after talks between the Indian Banks' Association and the United Forum of Bank Unions. Central government employees already received September salaries on 25 September. Public sector banks, including SBI, and private banks will function normally, so salary payments should not be disrupted.
