Bank unions deferred their three-day nationwide strike scheduled from Monday after the Indian Banks' Association assured them of addressing demands, including a five-day work week. A committee will be formed to discuss declaring remaining Saturdays as holidays, and talks on the PLI scheme for senior officers will begin. Banks will function normally on Monday.
