US stocks declined Monday as fading hopes for a Middle East ceasefire and rising inflation concerns weighed on markets. The Nasdaq 100 fell 0.8% and the S&P 500 dropped 0.5%, with the Dow down 0.5% at 51,550.25. Iran and the US remain far apart on a deal, pushing Brent crude to about $107 a barrel.
