North Korea Tells UN of 'Mutual Distrust' in Mild Speech

North Korea used its annual UN platform Monday to warn of "unprecedented mutual distrust and confrontation," but delivered a relatively mild speech with no direct threats. Vice Foreign Minister Kim Son Gyong touted multilateralism while insisting Pyongyang would rely on its own efforts and nuclear deterrent to defend itself.
