Nine States Use New US House Maps for Midterms

Nine states are using new congressional districts for the midterm elections after a rare mid-decade redistricting push by President Donald Trump. The Supreme Court blocked Missouri's new Republican-drawn map, ordering the state to keep its 2024 boundaries. New maps in Alabama, California, Florida, Louisiana, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas and Utah mostly favor Republicans, except in California and Utah.
