South African police have confirmed the discovery of 12 women's bodies in Ekurhuleni, east of Johannesburg, since July. The latest three were found between Saturday and Monday. President Cyril Ramaphosa called the killings a "stain on our national conscience". Arrests have been made in three cases, but police have not ruled out a serial killer.
