NASA Backs Boeing Starliner Fix, Crew Flights Slip to 2028

NASA is committing extra funding and support to fix Boeing's troubled Starliner capsule, Administrator Jared Isaacman said Monday. An uncrewed cargo flight to the International Space Station is targeted for December, but astronauts will not fly until 2028 pending safety redesigns. NASA will spend an additional $359 million on upgrades and rocket certifications.
