BJP Accuses Congress of U-Turn on Voter Roll Revision

The BJP on Tuesday accused Congress of a "U-turn" on electoral roll revision, saying the opposition party once demanded removal of duplicate and deceased voters but now opposes the Special Intensive Revision (SIR). BJP spokesperson Siddharth Yadav cited Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Rajasthan and Kerala, claiming deletions during SIR matched earlier Congress demands.
