Iran Ties Hormuz Reopening to US Concessions, Yemen Deal

Iran has offered to reopen the Strait of Hormuz within seven days if Washington releases frozen assets, lifts oil sanctions and ends its naval blockade, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi told the UN General Assembly. Tehran also demands an end to hostilities in Yemen, a condition the IRGC announced separately, suggesting a deliberate split in negotiating positions.
