India has added five new sites to its UNESCO Tentative List, including the Udaigiri Caves and Bagh Cave Paintings in Madhya Pradesh, the Group of Temples of the Chambal Valley, Ginnorgarh Fort, and a transnational Satyagraha proposal with South Africa. The list now has 78 sites, a step toward World Heritage status.
