A Flydubai flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv with over 170 people aboard diverted to Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, after a co-pilot allegedly stabbed the captain and tried to crash the plane. The captain, Indian national Smit Machchhar, opened the cockpit door so crew and passengers could overpower the attacker. Both pilots were injured; the UAE has ordered an investigation.
