Indian pilot Captain Smit Machchhar is being hailed as a hero by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu after his co-pilot allegedly stabbed him and tried to crash a flydubai flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv. Machchhar opened the cockpit door despite his injuries, letting passengers and crew overpower the attacker. The jet landed safely in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, with all 174 people aboard unharmed.
