Mumbai Police have filed a 700-page chargesheet against a 39-year-old Pune man accused of plotting to poison around 15,000 people during a Muharram procession in June. Investigators allege he prepared over 15,000 toxic capsules using more than 50 kilograms of zinc phosphide, assembled during a two-week stay in Mumbai's Dongri area. An alleged community dispute is cited as a possible motive. The case is now before the courts.
