Two PlusAI trailers bearing Nvidia branding were stolen from a Fremont, California facility, with thieves apparently expecting valuable AI hardware. Instead, each held about 20,000 pounds of sand used to simulate freight in autonomous trucking tests. The trailers were recovered in nearby Newark hours later after a friend spotted them; police say no arrests have been made.
